Accessing timetables online

How do I access timetables online?
Important notes about accessing timetables

There are several options as follows (some experimentation may be necessary to decide which option suits you best).

The timetable section includes a regional network map.

Personalised timetable options function (to view 5 next trips)
If you want the quickest way to check the next 5 departures on a particular route select the timetable link from the home page, select the service you want from the drop down menus (with the option to change the date and time if you wish) and click on the Next Trip button.

You are given the opportunity to confirm the details chosen and select the direction you want to go before the online timetable appears. Once viewing the online timetable, you are able to easily adjust the time of day, direction, view a map or download a PDF of the full paper copy version of the timetable. You can also customise the bus stop information that you can view to select only the stops you use.

View online html timetable or View PDF functions (to view full timetable)
From the home page you can select the service you are interested in from the drop down menus and view a full version of the timetable online ( View Timetable button) or download a PDF of the full paper copy of the timetable (which includes detailed map and fare information).

It is helpful to remember that:

  • you can use Acrobat Zoom to increase the viewing size
  • you want to print the online version of the timetable, it is a good idea to view the timetable in print preview first, as you may not want/need to print all the pages.
Clickable route network MAP (view full timetable)
If you need to view a map of the routes to help determine which service you need to access, the Timetable Section has a regional network map. Select the area of the region you are interested in and view the public transport network available in that area.

The map is clickable and you can zoom in and grab/move around to find you route. Click on the route you are interested in and select the full online timetable or PDF of the paper copy of the full timetable.

Journey Planner (view specific journey)
Use this option if you are unfamiliar with specific routes or want to plan a specific journey.
Fare information including zone boundaries
Fare information for the region is listed separately on site in the Tickets and Fares section. The pdf versions of the timetables include a very detailed street map with the zone boundaries shown.
