Detours & closures

Dates: Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 January 2025

Hours: between 9pm to 430am

During the Karori Tunnel closures, bus services 2, 4, and 21 will detour missing several stops along Glenmore St, Upland Rd, Chaytor St and Birdwood Street.

Buses detour between Glenmore St/Upland Rd, Plunket St, Raroa Rd, Raroa Crescent with Bus Route 21 missing Birdwood St bus stops as they detour via Chaytor St, Karori Rd and Lancaster St.

R27 detours via Liardet St and does not pass stops on Balfour St and McColl St. Temporary stops for R27 toward Wellington City are outside 76 and 32 Liardet St. Temporary stops for R27 toward Vogeltown are opposite 76 and outside 35 Liardet St.
