Registrations open for Community Connect Concession
Metlink fares are currently ‘half price for all’ until at least August, so to continue receiving half price fares when this ends, apply for the Community Connect Concession today.
Public transport fares get a 50% discount from 1 July 2023 when using a Snapper card with the Community Connect Concession applied. More information
How to apply
Apply for this new concession if you have a current Community Services Card from the Ministry of Social Development (MSD). To find out if you’re eligible for a Community Services Card, visit the Work and Income website(external link).
To get this concession, register your Community Services Card on your Snapper card online at Snapper’s website(external link).
To apply for the concession, you will need:
- Your valid Community Services Card
- Your red Snapper card
