Over the last week of May, Metlink ran the ‘Tix to the Nix’ competition. We were thrilled to give away 2 x family passes and 2 x silver tickets and provide a fantastic experience for Lance, Rebecca, Jenni and their families. A massive thank you to the Wellington Phoenix for providing some of the tickets.

How did it work?

Those who entered were asked why do you use Metlink on match days? This had no influence on the draw, it was simply to confirm an entry.

We received over 90 fantastic entries and loved hearing how we help connect communities to the things they love. Enjoy some of our favourites below.

Metlink is proud to support our communities in getting to the things they enjoy. In fact, did you know:

From 2018 -2020, Metlink, with our partners at Transdev, provided extra services for over 56 different events including Queen, All Blacks, Super Rugby and Phoenix games.
Altogether, that’s a total of 246 extra services over two years!
If all the carriages were full that’s a total of over 168,000 passengers (standing + sitting) taken to an event they love!
